Within 30/40 minutes you can reach the cities of Niort, Parthenay, the beautiful Green Venice of the Marias Poitevin, Vouvant and the Mervent Forest.
The historic and picturesque port of La Rochelle - a great day out- is 75 minutes away.
In Spring we enjoy the freshness of the countryside, masses of wildflowers in the hedgerows, bluebells in the woods opposite , and the beautiful chorus of Birdsong.
Summer can be hot - but we have plenty of shade for eating al fresco, and our lovely Pool to cool down in.
The autumn is warm, bright and dry. Our wooded valley becomes vibrant with Wildlife as they prepare for Winter - with small Butterflies feeding in the Wildflower Meadow, Red Squirrels feasting on hedgerow nuts, and the nearby Apple harvest in full swing.
All year round, you will enjoy the truly peaceful surroundings and our rich wildlife.

We are within easy reach of a number of Airports and Channel ports, also the TGV network ( connecting with Eurostar).
